Changing the Game is a timely and urgent documentary following three transgender teens fighting for their right to compete in the sports they love.

The film centres on Mack Beggs, a wrestler who made headlines around the world when he became the Texas state champion in the girls’ division – twice. In Connecticut, we follow Andraya Yearwood, an African American track star who is allowed to compete with other women but faces a torrent of abuse from the sidelines. Finally, in New Hampshire, we follow Sarah Rose Huckman, a skier and policymaker fighting for equal rights in her state.

Supported by their families, friends, and coaches, but facing discrimination from parents of other children and the media, the film ultimately becomes a striking portrait of three teens chasing their dreams in a world yet to catch up to them.
