Night Comes On
Anchored by extraordinary performances, Night Comes On is a beautifully compelling film which follows Angel (Dominique Fishback) as she reenters the world after a year in prison.
Burdened with a haunted past, rejected by her girlfriend on the outside and disconnected from society on the whole, Angel seeks out her sister Abbey (Tatum Marilyn Hall), in an attempt to find and exact revenge upon the man who tore their family apart – their father.
On their journey, the two sisters embark on a fragile restoration of their bond. Both women have cultivated tough exteriors to deal with the circumstances life has dealt them, but their gentle hearts radiate with warmth for one other.
Night Comes On simmers with an intensity and rich soulfulness which firmly grips you as it powerfully unfolds.

"Restrained, affecting and tenderly observed with a distinctly female gaze... [it] cements the promise of Fishback as a face to watch. A magnetic presence at the center of virtually every scene, she gives a beautifully internalized performance, defined by taciturn Angel's anger but softened by her scarred humanity." - The Hollywood Reporter
