The True Adventures of Wolfboy (On Demand)
Online
Paul (Jaeden Martell) lives an isolated life with his single father (Chris Messina) in upstate New York. Covered in fur from head to toe, his curious condition ensures he is often picked on and alone. On his 13th birthday, he receives a mysterious gift that compels him to run away and seek out the mother who may hold the answer to his questions.
Out in the world, he meets an eclectic and wonderful cast of outcasts and oddballs, including eccentric showman Mr. Silk (John Turturro), a dreamy trans girl named Aristiana (Sophie Giannamore) and her one-eyed older pal Rose (Eve Hewson).
Written by trans playwright Olivia Dufault, with a wonderful supporting cast that also features Chloë Sevigny and Stephen McKinley Henderson, The True Adventures of Wolfboy is a love letter to being different, the journey toward self acceptance, and the beautiful people you meet along the way. Characterised by a quirky, lighthearted and fairytale-like surrealism, this film is unlike anything you've seen before!
