How to Buy Tickets
Visit www.queerscreen.org.au, select the film you would like to watch, and add ticket quantities to your cart.
If you are a Queer Screen member, remember to login to your account in order to get your member discount! VISA and Mastercard are accepted.

** When you purchase a streaming ticket from Queer Screen, you enter into an agreement wherein you agree to screen the film privately within your home or on your own device.
For the purposes of copyright in Australia, a screening of a film outside the home is generally regarded as "in public" and is prohibited. Transmitting the film via a third party platform or network, or to a group through an internal network is regarded as a public screening. Any screenings of this nature without written permission from Queer Screen and the copyrights owner are strictly forbidden.

Mardi Gras Film Festival will be in cinema and online for the very first time! Which means, if we have to cancel an in cinema screenings, you can still access over 60% of the program online!
In the case of a cancelled screening, you will be offered a credit for an online screening at MGFF21, or a physical screening in the future (to be used at any time), or a refund.
In the case you have to self isolate (because of flu/cold symptoms) you will be reimbursed the price of your ticket or pass. The safety and comfort of all our patrons is of the utmost importance, and we understand these are difficult times for many.
Please note: Masks are mandatory and must be worn as a condition of entry. Patrons not wearing a mask will not be allowed entry into our venues and refunds will not be issued.
*Exemptions for mandatory masks as per Service NSW: You are not required to wear a mask if you have a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a mask unsuitable. For example, if you have a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma, you are not required to wear a mask.

Fees - All transactions incur a $1.90 - $7.50 transaction fee. Membership sales, donations, free and complimentary tickets are exempt. Booking fees are not refundable.

- Films are only available to watch within Australia
Program Times - MGFF and QSFF program times and details are subject to change.
Film length, as listed in the program, represents the best available information at press time. Length of film does not include introductions or Q&A sessions following the screening.
General Admission Seating - Seating is available at all performances on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to COVID-19 cinema seating is subject to social distance measures as determined by the venue.
Latecomers - Your ticket guarantees admission if you are seated five minutes before the session begins. Latecomers enter at staff discretion.
Cancellations - In the event of a cancelled screening, Flexi pass holders will receive a replacement voucher - no refunds are made on Flexi passes. Single tickets will be replaced by tickets of equal value.
Classification - Classifications are listed on each film's page. Restrictions will be in place for those under the approved age.
Companion Cards - Are accepted for all sessions - please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Access - All MGFF and QSFF venues have wheelchair access. If you require assistance with seating or have other needs, please email email@example.com
Foreign language films are subtitled in English.

Copyright - The use of cameras and other recording devices during MGFF and QSFF sessions constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly prohibited. Any person caught in the act of filming a festival session will be immediately expelled, and the pirated material will be seized. Such persons may be subject to legal action.

Any and all issues or claims relating to sale and/or purchase of tickets and the provision of associated event(s) are the sole responsibility of the Event Organiser and Ferve Tickets (or any subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, directors or employees) have no liability for any claims. Ferve Tickets is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase of this ticket. Ferve Tickets cannot exchange or refund this ticket nor associated fees, please contact the Event Organiser with any queries. Ferve Tickets has no obligation to provide a refund or any other financial compensation if an event is cancelled, postponed or substantially altered by the Event Organiser, in which case you should contact the Event Organiser directly. Purchasing tickets constitutes your acceptance of this agreement.
